La I Carrera por la Esclerosis Múltiple reunirá a 800 atletas

Avempo, Acociación Viguesa de Esclerose Múltiple de Pontevedra, organiza este domingo (11:00) la I Carrera Solidaria por la Esclerosis Múltiple, para la que se han inscrito casi 800 atletas. La cita atlética se desarrollará por el barrio vigués de Bouzas sobre un recorrido de algo más de 3 kilómetros al que habrá que dar tres vueltas, haciendo un total de 10.480 metros.

Pese a lo cargado del calendario popular en ruta, esta novedosa prueba ha encontrado una buena acogida entre los atletas. Entre los inscritos figuran algunos nombres sobresalientes del atletismo vigués como el olímpico Carlos Adán o el paralímpico Gustavo Nieves, así como otros fondistas como José Alberto Bastos o Cristina Estévez.

La carrera tendrá como punto de salida y meta la alameda de Bouzas y los corredores afrontarán un circuito que se estira por las calles Pescadores, avenida de Beiramar, Coruña, Tomás Alonso, Camilo Veiga Prego y Paulino Freire. La inscripción, que se cerró ayer mismo, estaba abierta a todos los mayores de 18 años y a los de 15 con permiso paterno, a un precio de 5 euros.
