El pasado 10 de julio, los mejores cocineros españoles ‘dieron el golpe’ en el Torneo Solidario #ChefsAndGolf que reunió a los grandes representantes de la gastronomía española para compartir una singular jornada de actividades que finalizó con una Cena de gala y la celebración de un Sorteo solidario por el que se recaudaron fondos para la Asociación Benéfica Javier Segrelles y la Asociación Española de Esclerosis Múltiple.

Es la primera vez que se ha conseguido reunir a los chefs 3*** Michelin Elena Arzak, Eneko Atxa, Martín Berasategui, Paolo Casagrande, Quique Dacosta, Dabiz Muñoz, Joan Roca y Pedro Subijana, en un encuentro con la prensa que se celebró antes del inicio del torneo, para hablar de la cocina, de la alimentación, del medio ambiente, de los productos de proximidad y, por supuesto, de solidaridad.

Posteriormente, en el torneo de golf, que se disputó en el Club Golf La Moraleja, participaron 27 equipos, capitaneados 21 de ellos por un chef, a quienes también vimos sobre el green por la tarde disputando un torneo de putt y demostrando si sus habilidades en el deporte son tan magníficas como sus aptitudes para la cocina.

El evento culminó con una Cena de gala en el Hotel Miguel Ángel de Madrid, en la que se celebró un sorteo solidario con el fin de recaudar fondos para proyectos de mejora de la calidad de vida de personas con EM de la Asociación Benéfica Javier Segrelles y la Asociación Española de Esclerosis Múltiple. Como premios en el sorteo, cada chef participante cedió una mesa para cuatro personas en su restaurante, a los que se sumaron otros regalos ofrecidos por los patrocinadores para los invitados que realizaron sus donaciones.
