Suelta de globos en el DM2011Globos azules, blancos y amarillos volaron por los cielos de las principales ciudades españolas conmemorando el Día Internacional de la Esclerosis Múltiple que se celebró el 25 de mayo. Numerosas entidades adheridas lo celebraron dando lectura a un manifiesto y una posterior suelta de globos simultánea. Por tercer año consecutivo nos unimos a las actividades programadas a nivel mundial.

Las Asociaciones de Esclerosis Múltiple no quisieron dejar pasar la oportunidad de conmemorar el Día Mundial de la Esclerosis Múltiple y organizaron distintas actividades en sus municipios. Muchas de ellas coincidieron en la lectura de un manifiesto y una suelta de globos al mediodía, invitando a representantes de instituciones y responsables políticos. Entre ellas, las Asociaciones de EM de Almería, Oviedo, Miranda de Ebro, Jerez de la Frontera, La Línea de la Concepción, Castellón, Barcelona, Ciudad Real, Collado Villalba, Córdoba, Badajoz, Elche, Granada, Guadalajara, Huelva, La Coruña, Marbella, Móstoles, Orense, Parla, Vigo, Salamanca, Santiago, Talavera de la Reina, Toledo y Valencia. También en la sede de la Asociación Española de Esclerosis Múltiple se leyó un manifiesto y se soltaron globos.

En todas nuestras entidades fue un día de sensibilización social y de difusión de información sobre la Esclerosis Múltiple. Mesas informativas, cuestaciones, jornadas divulgativas, actividades lúdicas y reuniones de encuentro fueron otras iniciativas que se llevaron a cabo. Además, se hizo un gran esfuerzo desde el punto de vista comunicativo ya que se atendió y se facilitó información a los medios de comunicación, siendo su apoyo fundamental para lograr los objetivos de nuestro colectivo.
