El Presidente de la Diputación ha recibido a miembros de la asociación de Esclerosis Múltiple

Le han trasladado un proyecto divulgativo que consiste en la celebración de conferencias mensuales y exposiciones.

 

El presidente de la Diputación, Nemesio de Lara, ha recibido esta mañana al presidente de la Asociación Provincial de Esclerosis Múltiple, Jesús Mora, quien ha estado acompañado por dos miembros de su junta directiva, José Luis Poyatos y María del Prado Marín.

 

Mora le ha explicado a De Lara un ambicioso proyecto de divulgación que van a llevar a cabo desde finales de octubre hasta el próximo mes de mayo que se desarrollará bajo el lema «Abriendo caminos». Consiste, según ha explicado durante la reunión, en la realización de unas jornadas sobre esclerosis múltiple y otras enfermedades neurodegenerativas.

 

En principio han planificado una conferencia mensual y también llevarán a cabo dos interesantes exposiciones fotográficas. De Lara les ha felicitado por la iniciativa y les ha animado a realizar proyectos de este tipo.

 

La colaboración de la Diputación se concreta en la utilización de las instalaciones de la residencia universitaria Santo Tomás de Villanueva para la celebración de las conferencias, gesto que ha sido agradecido por los tres miembros de la Asociación Provincial de Esclerosis Múltiple que esta mañana han visitado el Palacio de la Diputación.

 

Mora ha insistido en que, aunque se trata de un proyecto pensado para los afectados de esclerosis múltiple de la asociación, que tiene un total de 270 asociados en el territorio ciudadrealeño, también se hace extensivo a quienes padecen otras enfermedades neurodegenerativas, así como a los familiares de afectados, a personas con discapacidad física en general, a cuidadores y a profesionales de la salud. Y apunta el presidente de la Asociación Provincial de Esclerosis Múltiple como principal objetivo el hecho de promover intercambio de información entre las personas que padecen enfermedades neurodegenerativas y afrontar la problemática que sufren así como resaltar sus capacidades.
