Desde el 1 de marzo, AEDEM-COCEMFE desarrolla el proyecto ‘Atención Domiciliaria a Personas con Discapacidad’, conocido entre nuestras asociaciones como Programa de Atención Domiciliaria (PAD), gracias a la subvención de 260.000 euros procedente del 0,7% del IRPF del Ministerio de Sanidad, Servicios Sociales e Igualdad gestionado por COCEMFE, dentro de su Programa Integral de Atención Sociosanitaria a Personas con Discapacidad en el Domicilio, para la ejecución y justificación de los proyectos de sus entidades miembros.

 

Durante el periodo comprendido entre  el 1 de marzo al 31 de diciembre de 2016 AEDEM-COCEMFE contratará 42 profesionales que atenderán a un total de 452 usuarios.

Con este proyecto se pretende cubrir las demandas personales de los afectados de esclerosis múltiple en relación a necesidades físicas, psicológicas y de mejora del entorno social, buscando luchar contra las dificultades de los afectados para su desenvolvimiento en la realización de las actividades de la vida diaria y atajar el aislamiento por carecer de la información necesaria sobre su enfermedad y las dificultades para acceder tanto a los diferentes servicios y recursos sociales y sanitarios, como al mercado laboral.

Disponer de información sobre la eliminación de barreras arquitectónicas para favorecer su integración social, aprender a asumir la incertidumbre debido a la falta de un tratamiento eficaz contra su enfermedad y conocer las condiciones legales y/o institucionales a las que puede optar por la condición de su dependencia, son objetivos a conseguir para los beneficiarios del proyecto.

Proyectos como éste se desarrollan gracias a la solidaridad de los contribuyentes que marcaron la casilla de Actividades de Interés general consideradas de interés social en su declaración de la renta.
