III Plan de Acción para Personas con DiscapacidadLa Presidenta madrileña, Esperanza Aguirre, acompañada por la Ministra de Sanidad, Servicios Sociales e Igualdad, Ana Mato, y el Consejero de Asuntos Sociales, Salvador Victoria, presentó este martes el III Plan de Acción para Personas con Discapacidad de la Comunidad de Madrid.
Durante el acto, al que fue invitado el Presidente de AEDEM-COCEMFE, Gerardo García Perales, se hizo entrega a las diez Federaciones que integran el Comité de Representantes de Personas con Discapacidad de la Comunidad de Madrid (CERMI) del documento en tres formatos diferentes, libro, audio guía y lectura fácil de forma que pueda ser accesible para todos los usuarios.

El Plan de la Comunidad incluye 448 medidas y 209 objetivos que se pondrán en marcha durante el período 2012-2015. Algunas medidas concretas del plan son favorecer que las personas con discapacidad puedan participar en los procesos electorales como cualquier otro madrileño, tanto con su voto activo como con su participación en las mesas electorales; facilitar el acceso al empleo y a la promoción de sus propias iniciativas empresariales; en educación, medidas para lograr el acceso a la enseñanza a todos los niveles, incluida la universitaria; y en sanidad, consolidar la rehabilitación de aquellas personas que tienen una discapacidad neuromotora, promover la atención bucodental y atender mejor la enfermedad mental.

Entre las principales novedades de este Plan, la Comunidad promoverá la homologación de la tarjeta de aparcamiento para discapacitados de forma que sea válida en todos los municipios de la región.
