La Junta Directiva del Colegio de Médicos continúa comprometida con la sociedad alcarreña y entrega, un año más, el 0,7% de sus presupuestos a asociaciones sin ánimo de lucro de la provincia de Guadalajara. Este año se han repartido 2.400 euros en tres partes iguales para la Asociación de Niños con Parálisis Cerebral (NIPACE), Cáritas Diocesana de Sigüenza-Guadalajara y la Asociación de afectados por Esclerosis Múltiple en Guadalajara (ADEMGU).
El presidente en funciones del Colegio de Médicos de Guadalajara, D. Mariano Paniagua, ha hecho efectiva la entrega de los cheques esta misma mañana junto al resto de la Junta Directiva, que mantenía una reunión ordinaria. Paniagua ha manifestado que con esta donación solidaria el Colegio aporta “su granito de arena” en la solución de los problemas que afectan a la sociedad.
La directora de NIPACE, Mayte Vega, ha explicado que la donación se destinará al funcionamiento general de la Fundación y a la aplicación de técnicas específicas para el tratamiento de niños con parálisis cerebral. Vega se ha mostrado muy agradecida con el Colegio por su aportación. En su centro de Francisco Aritio llevan a cabo NIE (Neurorehabilitación Intensiva Especializada con órtesis Therasuit-Adeli), trabajan con el robot Lokomat adulto y pediátrico, la órtesis Athlant, el traje acuático TNAR. NIPACE es un centro pionero en la ayuda a los niños con parálisis cerebral en nuestro país.
Por su parte la directora de ADEMGU, Ana Isabel López Ribera, ha reconocido que la asociación que representa atraviesa una difícil situación económica, por lo que cualquier suma supone una gran ayuda. López Ribera ha señalado que destinará los 800 euros al pago de la página web de la asociación, actualmente en construcción. La web supondrá una herramienta que aumentará la visibilidad de la enfermedad, ayudando a sensibilizar a la población y a las administraciones sobre los problemas que sufren los afectados por Esclerosis Múltiple.
El secretario de Cáritas Diocesana Sigüenza-Guadalajara, Fernando Muñoz López ha recogido el cheque de esta asociación benéfica, que se ocupa de ayudar a los más necesitados de la provincia. Según ha señalado, la donación irá destinada a ayudar a personas sin hogar y a mantener el comedor solidario.
